The reports from earlier in the day on Monday, were confirmed in FS1’s Monday evening’s edition of NASCAR RaceHub. The 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race will be contested at Bristol Motor Speedway, instead of Charlotte Motor Speedway on Wednesday, July 15th.

This marks only the second time in the race’s prestigious history that it’ll be held at another track other than Charlotte.

The 1986 edition of the race was run at Atlanta.

According to Speedway Motorsports, Inc.’s CEO Marcus Smith on RaceHub, the Speedway will be allowed to have 30,000 fans in attendance for the $1-million winner-take all event.

“Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and Sullivan County officials have allowed for up to 30,000 fans at the All-Star Race in Bristol,” said Smith. “We’re grateful for the continued support from both governors and all the state and local officials.”

The race will be broadcast on FS1 on Wednesday, July 15th.
