Interstate Batteries’ Electrifying Design Returns for 2022

(PC: JGR)

Fans are eagerly anticipating what many designs for 2022 will look like thanks to the new number placement, and Interstate Batteries is making a strong statement with their design for next year.

Revealed on Tuesday, the same electrifying look for the No. 18 Interstate Batteries Camry will return for 2022, with the company taking perfect advantage of the new number placement that will become the standard for next season.

Interstate Batteries and lightning have gone hand-in-hand for a number of seasons during the three-decade relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing. During J.J. Yeley’s tenure at JGR, Interstate Batteries ran a similar lightning-themed design in 2007. Once Kyle Busch came over, the company kept its lightning-based design before moving to the controversial “Zebra” livery.

The 2022 design is arguably one of the best designs thus far featuring the new number placement for the Next Gen car.

The company made six appearances with Busch in 2021, with a best finish of seventh at Michigan.
