Eric Philips and Mardy Lindley Join Kyle Busch Motorsports as Crew Chiefs; Danny Stockman Returns

On Tuesday Afternoon, Kyle Busch Motorsports announced the crew chief lineup for their three-truck operation next season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Eric Philips – the winningest crew chief in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history — will be the crew chief for John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 4 Toyota Tundra in 2021. Philips was hired by Kyle Busch Motorsports to lead the No. 18 team in 2010 and helped lead the the organization to great success before departing after 2014.

Philips has been a crew chief for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since then, scoring eight victories with Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch and Ryan Preece.

Danny Stockman joined Kyle Busch Motorsports prior to the 2020 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season and led the No. 51 Toyota Tundra to four victories with Kyle Busch. Stockman will return to the organization in 2021 as the crew chief for Chandler Smith and the No. 18 Toyota Tundra.

Mardy Lindley joins Kyle Busch Motorsports to oversee operations on the No. 51 Toyota Tundra, which will be driven by Kyle Busch and numerous other drivers to be announced at a later date. Lindley has scored four ARCA Menards Series East (was NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) Championships since 2013, including the last two with Sam Mayer and GMS Racing.

The 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season will begin on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at Daytona International Speedway. John Hunter Nemechek and Chandler Smith are each confirmed to be piloting the No. 4 and No. 18 respectively, while the driver of the No. 51 for the season-opener has yet to be announced.
