Video: Something Breaks on No. 23 Car, Sends Bubba Wallace Into the Wall

screengrab from NBCSN race broadcast

What a strange looking accident for Bubba Wallace. On lap 249 of Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400, it looked like the brakes locked up on the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota, which sent Wallace straight into the outside wall.

After repairs on pit road, Wallace was able to return to the track, but you have to wonder if the mechanical gremlin that caused this accident will crop back up.
