Video: Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon Perfectly Cap Off Emotional NASCAR Noose Incident

Regardless how you feel about NASCAR on FOX’s coverage, you cannot deny that with severely rocky waters in the United States and inside the sport of NASCAR so far in 2020, Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon have handled each and every wild, and emotional twist with incredible poise.

The latest incident was a noose that was found in the Talladega Superspeedway garage area in the garage stall of the lone black driver in the NASCAR Cup Series — Bubba Wallace.

While many have criticized NASCAR for jumping to conclusions believing it to be a hate crime, when ultimately, it turned out that the noose had been there since 2019, Joy and Gordon Saturday at Pocono masterfully broke down that they believe NASCAR acted appropriately toward what they felt was a threat against one of their drivers. The two also shut down the conspiracy theories that were chimed in by other forms of media, who don’t usually cover NASCAR.
