Video: Landon Cassill Crashes Near Mid-Way Point Of Open Stage 2

Landon Cassill went for a wild ride after taking a strategy gamble in an effort to make the All-Star Race.

Landon Cassill will not make it into the field of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race. The 32-year old driver whipped his No. 77 Spire Motorsports machine around and backing into the wall on lap 7 of Stage 2 of the All-Star Open event.

Cassill and his Spire Motorsports team opted to give up fresh tires for track position in an attempt to steal a spot in the All-Star race, but it did not pay off, ultimately.
