Kyle Busch got turned on a restart at the end of Stage 2 in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race at Kansas, as a result, Busch pounded the inside wall and is done for the day.

Despite issues on pit road all race long, Kyle Busch had another decent run going in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. But then, a caution late in Stage 2, caused the field to split strategy-wise.

A large portion of cars near the mid-to-rear portion of the field stayed on the track in an effort to steal Stage Points, while the main contenders for the majority of the race pitted for fresh tires and fuel.

When the green flag came out, some of the faster cars got bogged behind the wall of slower cars, and it resulted in Kyle Busch going for a wild ride. As Busch attempted to avoid the slowing No. 6 car of Brad Keselowski, Busch got turned by Ryan Preece. Busch then skidded all the way across the track and pounded the inside wall really hard.

Here is the incident that ended the day for the driver of the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet:

Following the impact with the inside wall, Busch’s crew radioed to him asking if the car could be repaired, to which Busch replied, “It’s done, it’s fucking done. It’s broke.”

Busch would then climb from the car and his day would officially be over.
