Alright. This Chase Briscoe guy seems to be pretty damn good behind the wheel of a race car…

If his impressive nine NASCAR Xfinity Series wins a season ago didn’t already tell you that, his latest trick from behind the wheel should leave no question in your mind as to what the 26-year old was put on this earth to do.

In last Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 253 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, Chase Briscoe had a rough outing. He lost power steering early in the event (not ideal anywhere, but especially at a road course). However, he rallied back and found himself inside the top-10 late in the race.

Then, the hood on his No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang flew up and blocked his view.

Not to be denied, Briscoe continued driving with the hood covering his windshield for several minutes until a black flag from NASCAR forced him to pit road.

A Twitter user @Cole_Orange found in-car footage from Briscoe from the event, and shared a more than two minute clip of Briscoe driving basically blind.
