Video: Denny Hamlin Crashes From Second to Send Race into Overtime

Welcome my friends to the show that never ends. Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway has been BONKERS. And it will lead to an overtime finish after Denny Hamlin spun while battling with Chase Elliott for the win in Turn 4 with two laps to go.

As Hamlin backed into the wall, Elliott was marching to the finish line to take the white flag, but he didn’t make it in time before the caution came out. Elliott will need to survive an overtime finish against Ross Chastain and Brad Keselowski if he wants his first win since the fall of 2022.

Hamlin was able to continue driving, but his chance at the win is over as he’s 32nd, one lap down heading into Overtime.
