Video: Denny Hamlin and Erik Jones Unveil Darlington Throwbacks Via Instant Messenger

Solidly done, Joe Gibbs Racing social media team! Erik Jones has unveiled his throwback scheme for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Bojangles Southern 500 and Denny Hamlin has revealed the scheme he will run in the Xfinity Series race that same weekend. The two announced their schemes in a hilarious throwback video where the two drivers are using Instant Messenger to communicate.

Jones’ SportsClips car will be a throwback to his rookie late model scheme that he ran on his path to NASCAR stardom.

Hamlin will drive a SportsClips car that is designed to look just like Bill Elliott’s old Budwesier scheme from his Junior Johnson No. 11 days.
