Video: Alex Bowman Spins Off Front End of Austin Dillon After Stack-up

The first accident-based caution of the Instacart 500 comes courtesy of a trio of Camaros with under 30 laps to go in Stage one.

Heading into turn one, Chip Ganassi Racing’s Ross Chastain checked up with Alex Bowman coming from behind.

Both Bowman and Chastain made slight contact, but an oncoming Austin Dillon got into the No. 48’s right rear, sending the Arizona driver spinning into the wall.

Dillon received minor damage on his front bumper, while Bowman drove away with a mangled up right rear quarter panel.

Both drivers were able to continue on as Stage one nears completion. Bowman was the only Hendrick Motorsports driver to not start from the rear following inspection issues.
