The Big One: 19-Car Pileup Erupts on Lap 2 of Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta

A big crash erupted in the dog leg on the Atlanta Motor Speedway frontstretch on Lap two of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Ambetter Health 400. The carnage was triggered by Todd Gilliland slowing slightly near the front of the field.

Gilliland slowing up caused a chain reaction behind him, which sent Austin Dillon spinning to the inside of the track in Turn 1.

As Dillon went spinning, several other cars collided behind him, which sent several other drivers spinning through the field. It was a real mess.
