Sam Hunt has been scratched off the performance list for December 5th’s NASCAR Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Awards Banquet. Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports first reported this news.

Hunt, who was scheduled to headline the event, was arrested for DUI last Wednesday night.

Since the arrest, Hunt has been removed as part of the entertainment list for the banquet. It is unconfirmed at this time whether NASCAR made the call or if Hunt opted to focus on his legal situation in the aftermath of his arrest.

Country singer and song writer Chris Janson is still on the list of celebrity acts for the banquet, however, he was not added as a replacement for Hunt. Janson was signed to perform at the banquet last week, before Hunt’s arrest.

Cassadee Pope will co-host the event, which will air on NBCSN.
