Inspection Complete: Brad Keselowski Officially Takes First Cup Win Since 2021

110 races later, Brad Keselowski is a winner once again in the NASCAR Cup Series. The 40-year-old racer was fast all race long, but he was also a little lucky when it mattered most as he took the lead with nine laps remaining after Tyler Reddick and Chris Buescher made contact battling for the win ahead of him.

As both drivers cut down tires in the incident, Keselowski scooted past to retake the lead, and he charged to the finish line for his first race win since the 2021 season.

Following the emotional win for Keselowski, his No. 6 RFK Racing Castrol Ford Mustang Dark Horse underwent the rigors of post-race inspection, where the car received a passing grade from the sanctioning body. As a result, Keselowski and his No. 6 team were named the official winners of the race.

Officially, this is the 36th win of Keselowski’s illustrious NASCAR Cup Series career, and it is the first NASCAR National Series win of the season for Ford Performance. There were no issues detected in post-race inspection for any of the 36 cars in the field, which means all results and standings are now considered official.

Keselowski finished 1.214 seconds ahead of Ty Gibbs, who finished runner-up while Rookie of the Year contender Josh Berry finished an impressive third. Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe finished in fourth and fifth.

William Byron, Bubba Wallace, Alex Bowman, Justin Haley, and Michael McDowell capped off the top-10 finishers in the race.
