UPDATE 7:50 PM ET – It is still raining at Daytona, but Brian Neudorff (@NASCAR_WXman) posted a short video of his radar which shows that rain is definitely starting to lighten up and he is still hopeful that the storms will continue dissipating as we go later into the night.
Although, things are looking good, Neudorff is still concerned with the storms that are sitting to the south of the speedway.Watching another radar source it’s still raining @DISupdates this is why I’m cautiously optimistic – some rain diminishing – not out of the woods and Lord knows been burned too many times by Daytona in July #NASCAR pic.twitter.com/cagBAD0ccB

Storms are sweeping through Daytona International Speedway and as a result, the Coke Zero Sugar 400 will not be starting on time tonight.
According to Brian Neudorff (@NASCAR_WXman), the storms could begin dissipating around 8 PM ET.
If the race tonight is rained out, the plan is for a green flag Sunday at 1 PM ET.
Stay tuned to this post as I will be updating it with the latest news as it becomes available.
