Brendan Gaughan, Beard Oil Motorsports Set to Run Coke Zero 400 at Daytona

When we last saw Brendan Gaughan and the No. 62 Beard Oil Motorsports team in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series competition, they were polishing off a solid top-10 effort at Talladega Superspeedway back in April. Monday, the team officially announced via Twitter that they will be heading to Daytona in July to attempt to run and win the Coke Zero 400.

The team has a primary and backup Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 prepared and ready to go. Gaughan has 60 starts through his career in NASCAR’s premier division and he will look to make it 61 in a couple of weeks. Gaughan has one top-five finish and six top-10 finishes over his Cup Series career.

Gaughan is also a two-time winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and an eight-time winner in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.
