Chase Elliott has become a bit of a road racing ace. He has won at Watkins Glen the past two seasons, and now he worked his way around Brad Keselowski with two laps remaining in Stage 2 in Sunday’s Bank of America 400 at the Roval to win the Stage.

Keselowski would hang on to finish second in the Stage.

Clint Bowyer, who is looking to point his way into the next round of the Playoffs got a much needed third in Stage 2 (he also finished third in Stage 1).

Jimmie Johnson has rebounded from a late Stage 1 spin to finish fourth in Stage 2.

Kevin Harvick rounded out the top-five in Stage 2.

Michael McDowell, who passed kidney stones earlier in the weekend, came home an impressive sixth in the Stage.

Martin Truex Jr. continues moving forward in his bid to win three races in a row. Truex, who started near the back of the pack has now moved to seventh.

Daniel Suarez, Paul Menard and pole-sitter William Byron rounded out the top-10 finishers in the Stage.

Alex Bowman is up to 24th in the running order, but he has not been making friends throughout the race. After several incidents in Stage 1, Bowman also sent Bubba Wallace spinning on purpose in Stage 2.

Denny Hamlin, another Playoff contender, went spinning near the end of Stage 2. As a result, Hamlin ended the Stage in 29th. However, he was able to stay on the lead lap, so he’ll look to work his way back forward.
