NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Preece and his wife, Heather, have welcomed their second child into the world, a son named Bentley Ryan Preece, the couple announced via social media on Thursday.

Preece, who competes full-time at NASCAR’s top level in the No. 60 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for RFK Racing, confirmed the news in a social media post, which reads: “Rebecca Marie & Bentley Ryan. Our world is complete.”

The couple has been married for eight years, since 2017, and already have one child together: a daughter named Rebecca Marie (references in the post), who was born on August 7, 2023.

Preece is a six-season veteran of the NASCAR Cup Series, joining NASCAR’s top-level on a full-time basis for the first time in 2019. The Berlin, Connecticut-native has driven for several teams during his tenure in the Cup Series, including Premium Motorsports, JTG Daugherty Racing, Rick Ware Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, and, starting at the start of this year, RFK Racing.

The 34-year-old driver has had a career season in 2025 since joining RFK Racing to pilot the team’s third full-time entry. Preece has collected a career-high three top-five results and 11 top-10 finishes, and with four races left in the season, sits 18th in NASCAR Cup Series point standings.

Preece, on top of being a multi-season veteran of the NASCAR Cup Series, is also a two-time winner in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, courtesy of tenures with top-tier organizations Joe Gibbs Racing (2017-2018, Xfinity) and David Gilliland Racing (2021-2022, Trucks).

However, most notably, Preece is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, winning the regional series’ championship in 2013 in the middle of four years of finishing no worse than second in point standings from 2012 to 2015.

Preece currently sits 10th-place on the all-time wins list for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, having been to Victory Lane an incredible 26 times in the tour — most recently at Martinsville Speedway in 2023.

Although not in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, Preece will look to back up a career-high third-place finish from earlier this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as the NASCAR Cup Series returns to the mile-and-a-half racetrack in Nevada for a second time this season.
