Testing..1 2 3…Testing: The Entry List For The Preseason Test At Daytona

We’re only a few weeks away from the ARCA Menards Series season opener at the Daytona International Speedway. Before we can drop the green flag on the year though, we have to get through the annual preseason Daytona test. Now, just a few short days away we officially know which drivers are getting ready to hit the high banks.

Some of this year’s biggest names on the entry list include NASCAR Cup Series winner Shane Van Gisbergen, and INDYCAR and SRX Champion driver Marco Andretti. SVG is teaming up with Pinnacle Racing Group while Marco is joining forces with Cook Racing Technologies from the ARCA Menards Series West.

Both of the ARCA Menards Series East and West Champions will also be heading down to Florida for some testing. West Champ Sean Hingorani will pilot the No. 12 with Fast Track Racing, while East Series champion William Sawalich will be behind the wheel of the No. 18S for Joe Gibbs Racing.

JGR is also bringing down Taylor Gray, who is set to split the No. 18 with the Eden Prairie, MN native for the 2024 season.

Fellow Toyota team Venturini Motorsports will feature several different drivers in the lineup. Kris Wright will be part of the team and as of now the only full-time driver for VMS. Joining him are Gus Dean, Jake Finch who is now running select races this season for VMS in the ARCA Menards and ARCA Menards Series West, Toni Breidinger, and Amber Balcaen who finished a career-best sixth at the World Center of racing last year.

Returning to the place where one year ago he had his biggest moment in racing, Greg Van Alst is looking to come out swinging with a strong test season, he’s also bringing Martinsville, IN native Isaac Johnson in a second car from Van Alst Motorsports.

Fan favorites and TikTok sensations Mullins Racing are bringing a lineup of young guns and veterans. ‘Big’ Willie Mullins is joined by Davey Callihan as the leader of the program. Along with them are Blake Lothian and Ryan Kuhn.

Other notables on the sheet include the Rev Racing teammates of Andres Perez de Lara and Lavar Scott, Tyler and Tanner Reif, late model driver Landon S. Huffman, Christian Rose, Scott Melton, Andy Jankowiak, Caleb Costner who is set to run full-time in the ARCA Menards and ARCA Menards Series East, NASCAR Whelen Modified driver Justin Bonsignore, and countless others.

Cars officially hit the track this Friday at 10 AM at Daytona International Speedway. The test runs through Saturday.
