After a thriller of a final restart at Iowa Speedway, which saw Luke Fenhaus stun William Sawalich for the win, the ARCA Menards Series heads north to the 2.5-mile tricky triangle of Pocono Raceway for the 10th race of the 2023 season, marking the halfway point.

The three-turn racetrack first became a part of the ARCA Menards Series schedule back in 1969 when Bobby Watson took home the win. The series would return for one race at the track in 1983, before finally making it a mainstay on the ARCA schedule in 1987.

Former winners include Bob Keselowski, Bob Schacht, Frank Kimmel, Blaise Alexander, Ryan Newman, Chad McCumbee, Riley Herbst, Justin Haley, Ty Majeski, and Corey Heim among countless others.

Tackling Tricky Three Turns

Rolling into Pocono this weekend, Jesse Love and the Venturini Motorsports No. 20 team. Love still sits atop the points standings with a hefty 49-point lead.

Joining Love from the VMS stable are NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular Dean Thompson, Conner Jones, Toni Breidinger, and a fifth car (No. 1) with Jake Finch behind the wheel. The Lynn Haven, FL native won earlier this season driving for VMS at Dover in the East Series.

The driver sitting 49 points back of Love in the second position of the ARCA point standings is Frankie Muniz, who pilots the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing. Muniz has been open about the team and their struggle to find funding for the races left in the season. The Scottsdale, AZ native has made it clear that he wants to race and is looking for his first career top-five soon.

After a hiatus from the ARCA Menards Series to run several races in Xfinity, Connor Mosack returns behind the wheel of the No. 18 for Joe Gibbs Racing. This is will mark his first ARCA race since Charlotte back in May.
