Young’s Motorsports has tapped a pair of drivers from the NASCAR Xfinity Series to compete in Saturday’s CRC Brakleen 150 for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Pocono Raceway, the team announced this week.

Stefan Parsons, who competes in the second-tier series on a part-time basis for SS GreenLight Racing, will drive the No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado in Saturday’s event at the 2.5-mile triangle-shaped facility.

CRC Brakleen, the title sponsor of Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, will serve as co-primary sponsor of the effort, alongside Heartland, which returns for another event as a co-primary partner of the No. 02.

Saturday’s 150-mile contest will serve as the 10th career start in the NASCAR Truck Series for Parsons, of which the most recent three have been contested with Young’s Motorsports, including an event earlier this season at Bristol (Dirt).

Parsons will look to improve upon a career-high 17th-place result in the NASCAR Truck Series, which was earned in his series debut at Bristol in 2018, driving the No. 15 for Jay Robinson and Premium Motorsports.

The 25-year-old driver will be working alongside Spencer Boyd, the sole full-time driver for Young’s Motorsports, and Chad Chastain, who has been tapped to pilot the organization’s third entry in Saturday’s event.

Chastain, the younger brother of multi-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Ross Chastain, will pilot the No. 20 Trophy Tractor Chevrolet Silverado in what will serve as his debut race for Young’s Motorsports.

The native of Alva, Florida will, much like Parsons, be running double-duty at Pocono Raceway, as he also competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event behind the wheel of the No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro for DGM Racing.

At 24 years old, Chastain has recorded five previous starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, all for Niece Motorsports, where he’s recorded a career-best result of 30th on three separate occasions in 2022 (IRP, Richmond, Homestead).

Fielding three entries on a full-time basis in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season, Young’s Motorsports has collected a single top-10 finish, which came at the hands of Kaden Honeycutt, who finished 10th at Darlington Raceway.
