Trouble broke out for Joey Logano and the No. 22 Team Penske team in NASCAR Cup Series practice, as Logano lost control of his Ford Mustang off of Turn 2 in the final couple of minutes of the practice session.
As Logano was working to the inside of Tyler Reddick, his No. 22 Ford skidded sideways, and he was unable to wrangle to car before it slammed into the inside wall on the backstretch.
Here is a video of Logano’s crash in practice:

Logano was second-fastest in Group B’s practice session when the crash occurred. Now, Logano will start Sunday’s 4EVER 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway from the rear of the field as his team will pull out the backup car.
