While the special patriotic Cheddar’s paint scheme, which was revealed at Circuit of the Americas, will not be driven by Kyle Busch at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600, the company announced on Saturday that the scheme will hit the track at Nashville Superspeedway this season.

In a graphic posted to Twitter, Cheddar’s released the schedule (and paint schemes) that will be featured on the Cheddar’s machine for the remainder of this season.

The standard Cheddar’s paint scheme will return to the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro at the Bristol Dirt Race, the first Kansas Speedway race, the second Atlanta Motor Speedway race, and the summer race at Daytona International Speedway.

Meanwhile, the patriotic scheme will be utilized at Nashville Superspeedway, and the showcar, which will be featured at the track, will utilize the patriotic paint scheme at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway.

This paint scheme will not be used in the Coca-Cola 600, but will rather be a showcar that Cheddar’s uses for Coca-Cola 600 weekend, according to a tweet from the company.

Maybe there is a way to convince Cheddar’s to run the scheme, as it has been received warmly on social media.

Kyle Busch will carry a special patriotic red, white, and blue Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen paint scheme for the Memorial Day Weekend Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The restaurant brand revealed the paint scheme on a show car trailer Friday at Circuit of the Americas.

Twitter user @TeamBubba23 shared a photo of the scheme on Twitter.

The scheme is beautiful as it features the red and white stripes of Old Glory, while the navy blue portion of the car features stars and croissants.

Just over an hour after the photo was re-shared on Twitter by twitter user @KFB_NATION, the official Cheddar’s Twitter account interacted with the reposting of the photo by Tweeting, “You can catch this beauty at the Coke 600 showcar stop. We can’t wait.”

In a 14-year stint with Joe Gibbs Racing, Busch typically piloted a patriotic M&M’s or Skittles branded car during the Coca-Cola 600. In December 2021, Mars Incorporated announced that it would not return to Joe Gibbs Racing as Busch’s sponsor for the 2023 season.

This set into motion a series of events that ended with Busch announcing a move to Richard Childress Racing for the 2023 season on September 10th.

Five races into his tenure with RCR, Busch has impressed. The 37-year-old was in contention for the win in the season-opening Daytona 500 before he was swept up in a crash in the closing laps.

However, Busch followed the disappointment at Daytona with a victory at Auto Club Speedway.

Overall, the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has three top-10 finishes this season and sits seventh in the championship standings. The Las Vegas native has an average finish of 10.4 this season. If Busch can keep that average finish going throughout the course of the entire season, it would mark his best average finish since an 8.9 average finish in his second championship season in 2019.
