Mason Massey and BRUNT Workwear will continue a sponsorship partnership, which began in 2021, as the young driver moves to DGM Racing for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
According to a release from DGM Racing, Massey, 25, will pilot the No. 91 BRUNT Workwear Chevrolet Camaro in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.
“I’m looking forward to having BRUNT back on the car for the second year in a row,” Massey said in the release. “They are a great group of guys and a lot of fun to have at the racetrack. The BRUNT team has an old-school feel, and their work ethic aligns perfectly with how I was raised. I can’t wait to see the orange and black BRUNT colors back on the track at Daytona.”
As excited as Massey is to head to Daytona with the familiar black and orange BRUNT colors, the workwear company is equally as thrilled to be partnered up for another season.
“We really believe in Mason and are thrilled to be growing with him. Mason is the perfect BRUNT guy. He works hard for everything he has and puts in the work day in and day out,” said Eric Girouard, Founder, and CEO of BRUNT. “BRUNT’s growth was explosive in 2021, and so was Mason’s. While we both have very different day jobs, it’s exciting to be on this ride to the top together. We love to support people with hard-working values.”
Massey, a native of Georgia, has made 23 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series over the last two seasons. While he has yet to score a top-10 finish in the series, Massey has done a lot of good in driving for BJ McLeod Motorsports as well as a one-race run with Rick Ware Racing a season ago.
The driver’s best finish to date was a 17th-place effort at Richmond Raceway last year.
Massey will look to better that at Daytona next week.
