Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spun the No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing Next Gen early in Wednesday’s Next Gen test at Charlotte. Screengrab from NASCAR video.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. went around for a spin off of turn 4 in the early portions of Wednesday’s NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen car test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval. Stenhouse was running next to Aric Almirola in a pack at the time.

TobyChristie.com captured video of the scene following the spin. Here, you’ll see that the team changed a flat tire on the car on the track. When the team brought the tires back over the pit wall, you can see how badly the tire was flat-spotted.

Luckily, Stenhouse was able to get the No. 47 JTG Daugherty car back to the garage undamaged. Following the spin, Stenhouse explained the situation on Twitter.
