Post-race technical inspection following Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 200 at Watkins Glen International has been completed.

Ty Gibbs’ race-winning No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Gibbs and his team the official winners of the race.

This marks Gibbs’ third-career NASCAR Xfinity Series win in just his 10th-career start, and it’s the ninth win for the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series team in 2021.

Brandon Jones’ No. 19 car and Ty Gibbs’ No. 54 car did have one unsecured lug nut each, which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

Alex Labbe’s No. 36 car lost the rear axle during the race, which will result in a one-race suspension for crew chief Joseph Keim.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Saturday’s race are now considered official.
