In the final stage of Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Alex Bowman’s chances of a top-10 finish went away, after a tire went down on his No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, leaving the two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner to make his way to pit road.
There TECHNICALLY were no actual incidents from the evasive move, but there was one extremely close call in the process. As Bowman entered pit enterance, Rookie of The Year Contender Anthony Alfredo nearly obliterated Bowman’s No. 48 while trying to sneak past, coming within inches of totally destorying both cars.
