Video: Conor Daly’s Night Ends With Massive Fiery Crash in Las Vegas

While running in 17th on lap 69 of Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Bucked Up 200, IndyCar veteran Conor Daly, who was making his second NCWTS start crashed hard, and his No. 44 Niece Motorsports truck went up in flames.

Daly’s No. 44 got loose after contact with Chase Purdy, and he attempted to save it. When he did, the steering caught and he shot straight up the track and hit head-on in the wall.

Here is the accident as it unfolded live on FS1:

And here is a comprehensive replay look at the incident:

Daly collected Sheldon Creed and Tyler Hill — two of the 10 Camping World sponsored trucks in the field.

Luckily Daly would climb from his truck after the wild accident.

Entering tonight, Hill had never failed to finish a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event through 16 starts, the 12th longest streak in series history (to start a season). If he can finish the race tonight, he’d move into second on the list of drivers who have the most starts without EVER scoring a DNF, passing Denny Hamlin.
