Video: Ryan Preece Somehow Walks Away From Absolutely Savage Crash at Kansas

On a restart at lap 181 in Thursday’s NASCAR Cup Series Super Start Batteries 400 at Kansas Speedway, things got crazy. Christopher Bell got turned, he slid into Ryan Preece, which sent Preece’s No. 37 car flying toward the inside wall.

Preece took a severe impact.

Luckily, Preece — who was visibly frustrated — climbed from his car and walked away from the violent crash.

In addition to Preece and Bell, Ryan Newman and Chris Buescher were also involved in the crash.

Here is a more in depth look of the crash:

Another large crash is what spawned this restart.

On lap 175, Joey Logano’s No. 22 Ford lost a tire in front of the field. After slamming into the wall, five cars in total sustained damage including Jimmie Johnson, Austin Dillon, Matt DiBenedetto and Kevin Harvick.
