Tyler Hill Making 2020 NASCAR Truck Series Debut at Homestead-Miami Speedway

The Hill’s are certainly one of the busiest families in the sport of NASCAR, with brothers Timmy and Tyler having some sort of involvement in at least one of NASCAR’s Top 3 National Series.

Timmy, the oldest of the two brothers, drives full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, as well as the majority of the schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, both for MBM Motorsports, along with a part-time schedule in the NASCAR Truck Series for family-owned operation Hill Motorsports, who fields the No. 56 Silverado full-time in the series.

So far in 2020, Timmy has taken the bulk of the driving role for Hill Motorsports, running three of the four NASCAR Truck Series races this season, with best finish of 22nd at Charlotte and Atlanta. Gus Dean was the driver of the No. 56 at Daytona in a partnership with Win-Tron Racing, resulting in a 26th place finish.

When the NASCAR Truck Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend, Tyler Hill will be back behind the wheel of the Hill Motorsports No. 56 for the first time this season. Hill does have prior experience at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as Hill drove the Hill Motorsports No. 56 last November, finishing 23rd.

Hill has four prior starts in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, piloting the No. 56 Hill Motorsports Chevrolet, with a best finish of 11th last summer at Kentucky Speedway, his first start on a track longer than one mile in the NASCAR Truck Series.

You can watch Tyler Hill and the No. 56 Hill Motorsports Chevroley Silverado take to the track for the 25th annual Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway o Saturday, June 13th at 12:30PM/EST on Fox Sports 1.
