Matt Tifft is a mentally strong young race car driver. He bounced back from brain surgery to remove a rumor and ultimately made it as a rookie in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2019.
However, Tifft’s rookie campaign was cut short as he suffered a seizure before the fall race at Martinsville Speedway.
Tifft has since reported that he also suffered a seizure during his honeymoon in the offseason.
On Wednesday, Tifft gave the world an update on his health.
In the video, Tifft explains that he is traveling to hospitals in Ohio as doctors continue to try to find a reason for his recurring seizures.
Tifft is hopeful that he will receive answers, which may help him eventually return to the race track some day.
Here is a health update, flying up to Ohio today for some further testing and hopefully some answers soon 🤞 pic.twitter.com/IkbSj0ThSA
