Atlanta Motor Speedway Will Issue Ticket Credits, Not Refunds, For Fans

In the aftermath of NASCAR announcing that the sport will run the next two race weekends without fans in attendance in an effort to stop the spreading of the COVID-19 virus, many fans that has tickets to this weekend’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway wondered if they would get their money back for tickets that they now would not be allowed to use.

Answer: no. Atlanta Motor Speedway will not issue refunds to these fans, however they will issue ticket credits for these fans for any Speedway Motorsports, Inc. race in 2020 or 2021.

Fans have had a mixed reaction to the news, which was released by AMS via a statement on Thursday.

  1. What if I can’t attend another race this year and or next year. I can only take vacation time when it comes around in Oxtober and if I have tickets for a race already there is a good chance I cant get that weekend of week for vacation..
