On Tuesday, Amazon’s Prime Video unveiled the final pieces of its decorated broadcast team for its inaugural season of NASCAR Cup Series coverage.

NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Carl Edwards is the most notable addition to Amazon’s broadcast lineup for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, serving as a studio analyst.

Edwards, who left the full-time NASCAR Cup Series scene after the 2016 season, will be working alongside Danielle Trotta and part-timer Corey LaJoie as part of Prime Video’s pre and post-race shows.

Trevor Bayne, the 2011 DAYTONA 500 champion, will also be joining Prime Video’s team, serving as a pit reporter for the streaming service’s five-race early-Summer run.

Bayne will also be joined by experienced pit reporters Kim Coon and Marty Snider, with the trio’s five-race stretch beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day Weekend.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Carl, Trevor, Kim, and Marty to our NASCAR on Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer at Prime Video. “Carl’s Hall-of-Fame career, combined with the extensive experience of Trevor, Kim, and Marty, bring an unparalleled authenticity to our coverage. Their deep knowledge and genuine passion will resonate with fans and elevate the NASCAR viewing experience. We look forward to showcasing our entire announce team when we debut in just a few short months.”

Named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, Carl Edwards brings his enthusiasm for racing to Prime Video’s inaugural season of coverage. His impressive resume in NASCAR includes 28 wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, plus 124 top-fies, 220 top-10s, and 22 poles.

Edwards finished second-place in NASCAR Cup Series points twice throughout his career, including the closest championship race ever, in 2011, where he lost in a tiebreaker.

Trevor Bayne also boasts an impressive racing resume. In 2011, the Tennesse-native made history by becoming the youngest winner of the DAYTONA 500.

Throughout his career, Bayne has competed in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, with a record that includes three wins, 99 top-fives, and nine poles across the three circuits.

Bayne currently works as a Truck Series driver coach for TRICON Garage, Xfinity Series driver coach for Joe Gibbs Racing, and serves as an ARCA Menards Series analyst for FOX Sports.

Kim Coon joins Prime Video with extensive NASCAR broadcasting experience, currently serving as a pit reporter for NBC Sports and CW Sports. Her notable resume also includes a decade as a pit reporter for the Motor Racing Network (MRN). Additionally, Coon regularly hosts digital programs and live events for NASCAR.

Marty Snider will bring decades of experience with him as he joins Prime Video in 2025, serving as a pit reporter for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NTT IndyCar Series on NBC Sports.

Snider has also previously handled pre and post-race duties for NASCAR studio programming. His versatile sports career includes assignments for Football Night in America, the Olympics, NBA, PBR, off-road racing, and open-wheel racing.

Prime Video will begin its five-race stretch on Sunday, May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, before continuing at Nashville Superspeedway (June 1), Michigan International Speedway (June 8), Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez (June 15), and Pocono Raceway (June 22).

  1. Carl Edwards will be a great addition to the team. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to watch it because it costs extra and with groceries, utillities going up and gas up and down in price, I can not afford it.

  2. I agree with Jenny. Having to pay more $ to get PRIME, is not in our cards. This move by Nascar, is not a fan favorite. Don’t get why they did this. It just makes it harder for fans to be able to watch for 5 races. Guess I’ll watch Golf!
