According to a new report from Motorsport.com’s Jim Utter, Hailie Deegan will be moving to DGR Crosley Racing in 2020 and will drive the Ford nameplate.

Deegan has driven Toyota machines to this point in her stock car career.

There was huge speculation that Ford’s Tuesday announcement would be that Deegan would move to the manufacturer as a development driver. According to sources in Utter’s report, that is the case.

Deegan has taken the NASCAR and social media world by storm as she is the only female driver to ever win in the NASCAR K&N Pro West Series (now known as the ARCA Menards Series West). Deegan won once in 2018 and twice in 2019.

According to the report, the developmental deal between Ford and Deegan is multi-year.
