Alex Labbé, a veteran of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series known for his prowess on the road and street courses, is set to make a return to SS-GreenLight Racing for a partial schedule in 2026.

The St. Albert, Quebec-native will be getting behind the wheel of the newly-renumbered No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro (fielded as the No. 14 in 2025) for all five of the second-tier series’ road course events this season.

Labbe, a former champion of the NASCAR Canada Series, will make his season debut at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, February 28. Other opportunities for the “road ringer” will come at Watkins Glen International (May 9), Naval Base Coronado (June 20), Sonoma Raceway (June 27), and the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL (October 10).

“I’m really excited to be staying with SS-GreenLight Racing,” said Labbe. “We have had some great runs over the years, and I’m looking forward to building on that with some good runs this year.”

Additional partners for Labbe will be announced at a later date.

SS-GreenLight Racing, founded in 2001 by former driver Bobby Dotter, has spent more than two decades competing in NASCAR’s National Series, with several different drivers. In 2022, the organization brokethrough to capture its first-ever win with Cole Custer at Auto Club Speedway.

“We are so excited to have Alex [Labbe] back in the car next year,” said Bobby Dotter, owner of SS-GreenLight Racing. “He has brought so much to our program, and we can’t wait to build on the successes we have had in the past.”

In 2025, Labbe made seven starts in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for SS-GreenLight Racing in the No. 07, where he collected a total of three top-15 finishes at Circuit of The Americas (14th), Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez (15th), and the Chicago Street Course (12th).

During his tenure in NASCAR’s National Series, which has now spanned a decade, Labbe has recorded a single top-five result and 13 top-10s, all of which occurred during his time driving for Mario Gosselin and DGM Racing. In 2020, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, Labbe collected a career-best fourth for DGM Racing in the No. 36 Chevrolet.

Labbe will be sharing the No. 0 Chevrolet with Garrett Smithley, who was announced as the primary driver of the team’s second entry in December. Josh Bilicki will be the full-time driver of SS-GreenLight Racing’s No. 07 Chevrolet.

The 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series begins at Daytona on February 15. Alex Labbe will begin his season at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on February 28, with television coverage on The CW.
