Erik Jones had a break-through second career NASCAR Cup Series win in the Southern 500 this past season, but it came after months of speculation that he may be ousted from the No. 20 car. However, Jones and his team kept their heads down and kept chasing after a win. They got it, and as a result the driver earned his way back in Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 20 ride for 2020.
Wednesday, Joe Gibbs Racing posted a video to their Facebook account of Jones surprising his team with individual Southern 500 trophies for each member. Super cool move for the 23-year old.
