Video: Justin Allgaier Suffers Contact With David Starr Early in Practice at Homestead

Justin Allgaier showed great speed in opening NASCAR Xfinity Series practice, before rain delayed the session. In fact, Allgaier turned the fourth-fastest lap before rain ended the session.

However, there was a tense moment during the session for the driver of the No. 7 machine, who is a Championship 4 contender.

As he was passing David Starr during practice, Starr’s No. 52 car slid up the track. Allgaier made slight contact with Starr’s car on the exit of turn two.

Luckily, no severe damage was caused on the No. 7 car, but his team will need to tweak to get their machine back to perfect shape.
