Video: Keelan Harvick Surprises Dad Kevin Harvick With Grave Digger Scheme For Father’s Day

On Wednesday, Stewart-Haas Racing released video of Keelan Harvick surprising his father Kevin Harvick with a brand new paint scheme for this weekend’s race at Nashville Superspeedway. Harvick will drive a No. 4 Ford Mustang that is decked out to look just like the iconic Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck.

Since joining Stewart-Haas Racing, Harvick has gotten to drive a lot of iconic paint schemes, especially in the last couple of seasons. His typical primary sponsor — Busch Beer — has pushed the envelope in recent seasons as they have had paint schemes targeting Millennials, Gen-X, they’ve had a flannel car, Big Buck Hunter and more.

Now, Harvick will drive the most iconic livery in Monster Jam history.

Harvick, who scored nine wins a season ago before frustratingly missing out on the Championship 4, is winless through the first 16 NASCAR Cup Series events of 2021. However, Harvick has stayed consistent enough to rank ninth in the championship standings.

The California-native will attempt to score the win in the first-ever NASCAR Cup Series event at Nashville Superspeedway. Harvick had two wins in four NASCAR Xfinity Series starts between 2001 and 2010 at the 1.333-mile speedway in Nashville, Tennessee.

This weekend will mark the first time any NASCAR National Series will battle it out on the track since 2011.
