Video: Erik Jones Sends Cody Ware Into Stenhouse, Ware Slams Wall

Cody Ware was sent into Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and into the outside wall after contact from Erik Jones at Richmond.

It had been a very not action-packed race weekend at the action track, Richmond Raceway, as there hadn’t been an on-track incident recorded all weekend combined with the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the first two Stages of the Cup race.

But on lap 247, things got a bit exciting when Erik Jones made contact with Cody Ware. The contact sent Ware into the Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and then Ware careened into the outside wall to bring out the caution.

Here is the first on-track incident during a race this weekend:
