Video: Engine Issues for Todd Gilliland Triggers Chain Reaction Accident Collecting Tanner Gray

Todd Gilliland and Tanner Gray – both “alliance mates” with DGR-Crosley — have found the end of their days at Talladega Superspeedway, after engine problems for the Front Row Motorsports No. 38 sent Tanner Gray sliding into the inside wall off of turn two.

Gilliland entered the event 19 points below the cutoff line, meaning the engine issues and early retirement for the Front Row Motorsports team will likely result in the team’s elimination.

Gray was running inside the top-ten at the time of the accident, despite slight damage from an earlier incident with Gus Dean.

Both Gilliland and Gray would retire from the race early, ensuring a finish outside the top-25 in the final running order.
