Video: Denny Hamlin Goes Through Gravel Trap and Clogs Brake Ducts With Grass

With under 10 laps left in Stage 2 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Jockey Made in America 250 at Road America, Denny Hamlin made a mistake in turn 5, and slid into the gravel trap.

Fortunately, Hamlin was able to keep his momentum going, so he didn’t get stuck, but on his way back into the grass, Hamlin caught air and chunks of grass plugged up his brake ducts.

Hamlin will need to nurse the car around for the final few laps of the Stage.
