Video: Christian Eckes Cuts Tire, Crashes While Leading With 12 Laps to Go at Pocono

What a heartbreaking moment for Christian Eckes.

The 19-year-old Kyle Busch Motorsports driver appeared to have a legit shot at his first-career win in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in Sunday’s Pocono Organics 150 at Pocono Raceway, as he had the lead with 12 laps left in the race.

Unfortunately, Eckes had a tire go down, which sent him spinning in turn two. He would back in to the wall and spin to the inside of the track. He’s done for the day.
