Although he hasn’t received much fanfare, Ryan Sieg is in the midst of his best season in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition.

Through three races, Sieg has an average finish of 7.0 and his worst outing was an 11th place effort at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Sieg and his family-owned race team made sweeping improvements to their equipment and organization in the off season and those improvements are paying dividends as the team put together another solid performance this weekend in Las Vegas.

After rolling from the grid in the 18th spot, Sieg methodically matched the No. 39 Lombard Bros. Gaming Camaro SS forward all race long. By the end of Stage 2, Sieg was inside the top-10, where he would remain for the balance of the race.

As the checkered flag was shown to race-winner Kyle Busch, Sieg wasn’t far behind in the sixth position.

With his second top-10 in the early portion of the 2019 season, Sieg is now tied for seventh in the championship standings with Justin Allgaier and Ross Chastain — talk about star power.

After the incredible run, Sieg celebrated with family in Las Vegas.

It’s looking more and more like Sieg and his team have arrived. It would not be surprising if the No. 39 car reaches victory lane sometime soon.
