The synergy between the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ Niece Motorsports and the NASCAR Cup Series’ Trackhouse Racing continues to grow, as Niece Motorsports announced on Friday that Trackhouse team owner Justin Marks will pilot their No. 41 truck in the upcoming event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Worldwide Express, which sponsors both Niece and Trackhouse, will provide sponsorship for the effort on July 9th.

For the company it’s all about strengthening and deepening their relationships with the two race teams.

“We continue to look for ways to support and deepen our relationships with Niece Motorsports in the NCWTS and Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS),” said Worldwide Express President Rob Rose. “Both are highly focused on excellence and winning, as we are in our business. This race highlights our ability to work collaboratively to advance the sport together as teams, drivers and major sponsors. Having Justin behind the wheel will be a great event for all of us.”

Marks, who has one-career NASCAR Xfinity Series win on his resume, which came at Mid-Ohio, has not competed in a NASCAR National Series event since the 2018 season, but he is as proficient as they come on road courses.

The 41-year old team owner and racer is just happy to support Niece Motorsports and Worldwide Express.

“I’m glad I can help support Niece Motorsports and thrilled to be in the Worldwide Express colors. Their Silverados have been fast this year so we are going to Mid-Ohio this weekend with the mindset of not only having fun, but believing we will run well,” said Marks in a team release. “I know how fast Carson Hocevar was at the road course in Sonoma before he had to turn over the truck to Daniel [Suárez]. I expect he’ll be just as good on the road course at Mid-Ohio.”

The teamwork between Niece, Trackhouse and Worldwide Express has allowed Niece Motorsports to move into new avenues this season, according to team general manager Cody Efaw.

“The partnerships Niece Motorsports has formed with Worldwide Express and Trackhouse Racing have allowed us to explore new opportunities this year and we are excited to have Justin in our Worldwide Express Chevrolet at Mid-Ohio,” Efaw explained. “Worldwide Express’ commitment to our race teams and NASCAR as a whole makes this all possible and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship.”

This weekend, Marks will run the Camping World SRX race at Stafford Speedway on Saturday night and he’ll also run the Trans Am event at Road America on Sunday morning.

Marks has made a total of 38 starts in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition. The California-native has scored two poles and has a career-best finish of eighth, which he scored twice.

Now, he’ll look to add a NCWTS trophy to his mantle.
