Spencer Boyd Joins DGM Racing For Multiple Xfinity Races in 2021 With Help From Crypto MiniDoge

Spencer Boyd, who is a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Young’s Motorsports, will run a multi-race schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for DGM Racing in the No. 90 car with backing from MiniDoge, a cryptocurrency developed by Dev/TeamSix.

According to a press release from the racer, who hails from Missouri, on Wednesday, his first race in the No. 90 machine will come at Richmond Raceway on September 11th.

“I’m a racer,” stated Boyd in the release. “I want to race everything and anything…shoot, I’ll race lawnmowers! This deal gets me more seat time allowing me to improve as a driver. I appreciate Mario (Gosselin) giving me the opportunity to race with his team alongside my good buddy Josh Williams. I think DevTeamSix will love the exposure for MiniDOGE as we look to the future with their great team of forward thinkers.”

For DGM Racing’s team owner Mario Gosselin, he’s excited to have a driver, who he considers a hard worker behind the wheel of his cars.

“I’ve watched Spencer’s career for some time now,” said Gosselin. “We even raced each other a few times back in 2017. He is a hard worker with a promising career ahead of him. We are happy to have him at DGM for a few races together this year.”

The remainder of the 2021 NXS schedule for Boyd will be announced at a later date.

Boyd, 26, has made a total of 42 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series through his career, including a start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this year, where he finished 33rd. Boyd’s best NXS finish to date was a 17th-place effort at Daytona in the summer of 2018.

With DGM equipment, Boyd will have a chance to surpass that best finish this season.
