While not a NASCAR Cup Series race, Carson Hocevar claimed a prestigious win on Saturday evening at the Freedom Factory in Bradenton, FL.

The full-time driver of the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet got behind the wheel of an old Crown Vic in a team effort with Cleetus McFarland in the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets. The end result was Hocevar crossing the finish line first by a margin of 1.112 seconds over Greg Biffle.

Hocevar shared a photo of McFarland and him holding their trophies from the victory on Saturday night.

Former NASCAR racer and action sports superstar Travis Pastrana finished third ahead of Kye Kelly, and Zach Walker, who rounded out the top-five finishers in the final segment of the two-segment event.

Driving the No. 30 entry, McFarland got the evening started off climbing from the ninth starting spot to a third-place result in the 64-lap opening segment of the race. In the second half of the race, Hocevar was able to bring things home for the duo as he held off a hard-charging Biffle by just over a second.

The win allowed McFarland to avenge his runner-up finish to part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor Keith McGee, who won the 2024 edition of the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets.
