Report: Modified Champion Patrick Emerling Set to Make Xfinity Debut

According to an interview with Speed51.com, there will be a fresh face in the NASCAR Xfinity Series garage when the sport heads to Bristol Motor Speedway.

27-year old Patrick Emerling, a two-time RoC Modified Series champion, will be making his first start in NXS competition at The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.

According to the interview, Emerling will run the No. 02 Chevrolet Camaro, which has been driven by Brett Moffitt in each race so far this season.

Emerling, a New York-native, made two starts in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in 2017. Both starts ended in DNFs (Did Not Finish).
