Josh Bilicki, a road racing expert and veteran of the NASCAR National Series, will make his second start behind the wheel of a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota GR Supra in next weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL.

Bilicki, 29, will pilot the team’s No. 19 entry with primary sponsorship from longtime sponsorship partner Insurance King and Trim-Tex Drywall Products. Bilicki’s car will feature a patriotic red, white, and blue paint scheme for the event.

In his first start with JGR, Bilicki scored a 12th-place finish at Portland International Raceway after starting eighth in that race. Bilicki feels like he and the No. 19 team can compete for much more at the Charlotte ROVAL.

“Our goal for Charlotte is to run inside of the top five all day, stay out of trouble, and be in contention for a win at the end,” Bilicki said in a team press release. “This group is coming off of a win at Kansas, so we’ve got some positive momentum on our side. I am so thankful for this opportunity from Joe Gibbs Racing and for our amazing partners who stepped up to make this happen.”

Bilicki has made 15 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts this year, 14 of them with the DGM Racing team. Bilicki’s best run of the season was a 10th-place finish at Watkins Glen International in the No. 91 car. The Wisconsin native has three career top-10 finishes in 105 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, and he has one top-10 finish in 99 NASCAR Cup Series starts.
