JJ Yeley, a long-time competitor in all three of NASCAR’s National Series, will get behind the wheel of a different entry in Saturday’s Drydene 200 at Dover International Speedway, as the 44-year-old will compete in the first of his two scheduled races with Our Motorsports’ No. 23 Chevrolet Camaro.

The Phoenix, Arizona-native has competed in four of the first nine NASCAR Xfinity Series events this season, scoring a season-high 12th-place finish at Homestead Miami Speedway in February, driving the No. 17 for SS Greenlight Racing | Rick Ware Racing.

“I’m thrilled to drive the Our Motorsports No. 23 this weekend. I originally had the Dover weekend open in my schedule.,” Yeley said. “ look forward to working with Joe Williams again and the rest of the Our motorsports organization. Dover can be one of the more technical tracks on the Xfinity schedule, I feel very confident with the equipment the team is providing and my experience in the sport will result in a promising finish.”

In addition to Saturday’s 200-lap contest at Dover, Yeley will return to the seat of the No. 23 Chevrolet Camaro in October, when the series returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway’s “ROVAL” during the Xfinity Series Playoffs.

“I’m very happy having an experienced veteran driver in the car for the upcoming weekend,” said Chris Our, owner of Our Motorsports.

Entering Dover, the Our Motorsports No. 23 team sits 30th in 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series Owner Points, after a collection of drivers have taken their turns in the team’s second-entry, including Jason White, Natalie Decker, Blaine Perkins and Tanner Berryhill.

With practice and qualifying returning to the series’ next two races at Circuit of The Americas and Charlotte Motor Speedway, points will be critical to ensure that the No. 23 makes the field.
