Christopher Bell Beats Brandon Jones For Stage 2 Win at Kentucky

Christopher Bell finally lost the lead on pit road during the Stage break, but he found a way to knife his way back to the lead.

Bell led 27 more laps in Stage 2, bringing his race total to 72, to win Stage 2.

This is Bell’s 10th Stage win of the 2019 season.

Brandon Jones finished second, Cole Custer was third, Noah Gragson ended up fourth and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top-five in Stage 2.

Tyler Reddick, Michael Annett, Ryan Truex, Riley Herbst and John Hunter Nemechek also scored stage points in this Stage.

Pole sitter and second-place finisher in Stage 1, Austin Cindric got loose early in the Stage. Cindric slapped the side of Justin Haley’s No. 11 car and then spun. Cindric’s No. 22 would back into the outside wall.

Cindric ended the Stage in the 20th position, one lap off the pace.
